Louise Furrow is the vice president for university advancement. She provides leadership to alumni and parent relations, advancement services and annual giving, as well as major gifts, while partnering with the efforts of the Seattle Pacific Foundation.

Meet Louise Furrow
Joining SPU in October 2014, Ms. Furrow has a passion for Christian higher education and a strong motivation to guide SPU’s University Advancement office to fulfill the University’s mission and vision of engagement.
Since 1999, she has served in various fundraising capacities, most recently serving as the vice president for university advancement at Azusa Pacific University. During her 15 years at Azusa Pacific, Ms. Furrow saw her role gain increasing responsibility — from executive director, to associate vice president, to vice president in 2013. As vice president, she helped achieve an increase of 42 percent in annual giving in eight years through doubling both the number of donors and the number of gifts. During that time, APU raised an average of more than $10 million annually with a one-year best of nearly $16 million.
Prior to her work at APU, Ms. Furrow held positions in fundraising, community relations, and human relations for various nonprofits; she also served as a program manager at UCLA's Neuropsychiatric Institute.
Ms. Furrow has also chaired the Task Force on Graduate and Non-traditional Alumni Relations, and she has served on several other task forces, including the Strategic Planning Task Force. Her leadership has been recognized by her peers, including her year as chair of the Council for Christian Colleges & Universities’ Commission for Chief Institutional Advancement Officers.
Ms. Furrow graduated from the University of Tulsa.
