Craig G. Kispert is the vice president for finance and business affairs at Seattle Pacific University and SPU’s chief financial officer. He provides leadership and oversight to the University’s financial and physical assets, as well as managing and coordinating auxiliary services such as food service, bookstore, and conference services operations.

Meet Craig Kispert

Craig Kispert has served SPU since 1993, with increasing responsibilities over the last 20 years. His areas of expertise include debt management, financial reporting, budget planning, and outsourced-services oversight.

Prior to his promotion to vice president for business and finance in July 2013, Mr. Kispert served as assistant controller, controller, director of finance, assistant vice president for finance and budget, and associate vice president for business and finance. In 2018, the office became the Office of Finance and Business Affairs.

Mr. Kispert has been a CPA in the state of Washington since 1994, with experience in central banking and corporate accounting prior to coming to Seattle Pacific. He received a bachelor’s degree from SPU in 1988, and an MBA from Seattle University in 1991.
