Seattle Pacific University is working with our international students and monitoring changes in the executive orders recently issued by President Donald Trump.

SPU President Dan Martin issued a statement to the community on January 30, 2017, restating the University’s commitment to our international students.

American Immigration Lawyers Association

The American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) is the national association of more than 14,000 attorneys and law professors who practice and teach immigration law. AILA member attorneys represent U.S. families seeking permanent residence for close family members, as well as U.S. businesses seeking talent from the global marketplace. AILA members also represent foreign students, entertainers, athletes, and asylum seekers, often on a pro bono basis. Their webpage is regularly updated.

Department of Homeland Security

Department of Homeland Security is a department of the United States federal government with responsibilities in public security. This webpage includes the executive orders issued by President Trump imposing a 90-day travel ban to the United States by citizens of Iraq, Syria, Iran, Sudan, Libya, Somalia, and Yemen.
