Information Studies Minor

Information Studies examines the dynamic relationships between information, technology, and people. This minor examines the creation and use of information and digital technologies and prepares students to thrive academically, professionally, and spiritually in our information-rich and digitally-networked world.

  • A minimum of 30 credits are required for this minor, including a 15-credit core and 15 elective credits.
  • Grouped electives within the minor may be drawn from selected majors, creating complimentary major-minor pairings, or electives may be selected from diverse disciplinary areas.
  • Areas of emphasis include: General; Art; Art History and Visual Studies; Computer Science; History; Philosophy; and Visual Communication.
