Gracie Myers, Class of 2016

Gracie Myers, Class of 2016

For Gracie Myers, faith isn’t just an add-on activity. It’s a foundation of her SPU experience.

During her sophomore year, the Communications major from West Linn, Oregon, led a small group on her residence hall floor.

“Anyone was welcome to join,” she explains, “We would listen to a sermon, as well as talk about our lives and pray for each other every week. It was an awesome way to get to know the women on my floor better and to be able to talk about my faith with the people who lived closest to me.”

Gracie also spent a recent spring break in the Dominican Republic, and enjoys spending time at Malibu Club, a Young Life camp in Canada.

For work, she helps plan large events through the STUB (Student Union Board) such as the outdoor Christmas party (Tradition) and the spring picnic (Shapadooah).

All in a day’s work!
