Madisynn McCombsMadisynn McCombs
Catalyst Coordinator

As the catalyst coordinator for the 2018–19 school year, I am honored to have the role of leading and supporting the Catalyst team, as well as collaborating with many other wonderful campus leaders. I would love to connect with you, get to know you, and serve as a resource for becoming involved in the restorative work that Catalyst does. My prayer is that during your time at SPU, you have the opportunity to be challenged and to grow while knowing that you are welcomed and you are loved.

Etienne SoboleffEtienne Soboleff
Catalyst Event Programmer

As your current education coordinator, I work closely with, and advise each, residence hall’s social justice director/ intercultural coordinators. It is my hope that we can work together to create safe and open spaces for each of us to share and experience the diverse cultures and backgrounds on this campus.

Diamond TateDiamond Tate
Catalyst Ministry Programmer

As the ministry programmer of the Catalyst team, I coordinate the quarterly Multi-Cultural Night of Worship. These nights are dedicated to celebrating the diverse and inclusive Kingdom of God, and are a great way for you to step into what worship looks like for those of different backgrounds and ethnicities. I would love to get to know you and to walk alongside you as you get connected to any and all of the ministry opportunities SPU has to offer.

Andrea DiazAndrea Diaz
Catalyst Education Programmer

As the education programmer, I help construct the curriculum for In Context, our quarterly discussion series. In Context is intended to be a safe and welcoming space for all students, faculty, and staff to partake in discussions of race, privilege, and reconciliation. The goal of In Context is not only to equip those who attend with awareness of racial issues to help marginalized groups, but also to challenge, strengthen, and revise our own preconceived notions about issues of race.
