Sacred Sounds of Christmas

This much-anticipated annual event returns to Seattle's Benaroya Hall for the 2017 season. The concert features the best of sacred Advent music and Christmas carols from around the world, performed by the Music Department's nationally recognized student and faculty musicians. This annual Advent Chapel hosted by SPU’s Department of Music tells the story of creation to the coming of Christ through Scripture and song. The chapel begins at 11:10 a.m. in First Free Methodist Church.

This annual student-produced holiday celebration in Tiffany Loop features activities, performances, crafts, and snacks. Families with small children are especially welcome. The event will be held 7-10 p.m.


Poesìa en la canciòn: Art Songs of Central and South America

Come celebrate the rich culture and poetry from Mexico, Central, and South America in an evening of song. The concert, featuring SPU music faculty Cherie Hughes and Dainius Vaicekonis, is at 7:30 p.m. in Nickerson Studios on campus.

Jane Eyre: The Musical
February 1-3, 8-10, 2018

The SPU Theatre Department presents this classic Charlotte Brontë’ story set to music. Follow Jane’s journey from an orphan to a woman who is determined to fight for freedom and fulfillment through life’s many obstacles.
