The Seattle Pacific Symphonic Wind Ensemble and Drum Corps will perform at the annual Memorial Day service at the Evergreen Washelli Veterans Memorial Cemetery on Monday, May 27, beginning at 1:30 p.m. The cemetery is located at 11111 N. Aurora Avenue in Seattle.

The concert features a variety of chamber ensembles from the percussion studio, ranging from multiple percussion pieces to ethnic drum ensembles. The concert will be held in McKinley Hall, and is free and wheelchair accessible. The concert will be livestreamed.

The public is invited for a behind-the-scenes look at Seattle Pacific’s conference center in Coupeville on Whidbey Island, a historic military fort built at the turn of the 20th century. The event beginning at 12 p.m. includes guided tours by Professor Emeritus of History Bill Woodward and a chance to visit the Sea Lab, a marine biology teaching facility.

Guests may park in campus commuter parking lots (with the exception of the S lot) after 6 p.m., Monday through Friday, and anytime Saturday and Sunday. Parking is also available on local residential streets as marked.
